Danyil was born in Odesa, but today he lives in Vinnytsia with his mother, where every day is a small yet meaningful victory. At six months old, after a vaccination, he experienced a sudden regression and lost all the skills he had previously gained. Since then, the family has been tirelessly fighting for every step forward: rehabilitation, examinations, tests, and treatment have become part of their daily life.
Danyil has a rare genetic condition — Glutaric Acidemia Type I, as well as hyperkinetic syndrome and spastic tetraparesis. Despite this, he has preserved his bright mind, kindness, and sincere curiosity about the world. He cannot walk, sit, or speak on his own, but he understands everything and greets each day with genuine joy.
He loves walks, being around other children, and colorful musical toys. He is especially fascinated by melody books and developmental toys that help him train his motor skills. Now a 1st-grade student on an individual learning program, Danyil proves every day that love and persistence can create real miracles.
