Tell us a little about yourself.
My name is Natalya Zakharova. I was born in Russia in the Urals, in the small town of Alapaevsk, in a family of believing parents. At the age of 11, my family emigrated to the USA. I am married and have 4 children. Even as a teenager, I realized that I really wanted to be a missionary, and although it still hasn’t reached that point, now my husband and I are trying in every possible way to support the missionary service.
How did you hear about the “Transforming Nations” mission?
I learned about the “Transforming Nations” mission when Mikhail Reznik came to our church. My husband and I were surprised at the work that he and his team are doing. At that time I could not even think that someday I would become a part of it.
Why did you decide to join Transforming Nations?
When Mikhail visited our church for the second time, I went up to his booth and we started talking. At that time, I was leading a prayer group in our church. He invited me to lead the prayer portion of the Transforming Nations mission. A few days before that, the Lord revealed to me through His word that He was taking me to a new level. I understood Mikhail's offer as an answer from God and gladly agreed.
How exactly are you now helping to influence the fate of people in “Transforming Nations”?
My main task now is to stand in prayer of intercession for the Transforming Nations team. I try to attract as many people as possible to the constant prayer guard, including through the telegram channel. Prayer is the most inconspicuous ministry, but one of the most important.I thank God for allowing me to have this privilege to serve on the Transforming Nations team. What the mission does is really amazing and powerful. I believe that our strength is in unity!
