We started the construction of the children's center in Kenya in August 2021 with a fence and shed/warehouse.
We have already built the foundation, walls and roof of 3 buildings:
- the cafeteria and the administrative block,
- the Hope Center for girls who have been victims of sexual violence,
- and the Orphanage for girls.
We have also applied for an electricity connection from Kenya Power and Lighting Company, which will take about 2 months to complete.
We are decorating the Orphanage for girls. They did the wiring, plumbing, tiles and now painting is underway. A security house has already been built at the entrance to the facility, as well as a power plant building, where we will have a main electricity meter.
We managed to drill a new well. 6 inches wide and 80 meters deep. We are looking forward to installing a pump and a steel tower for a 10,000 liter water tank.
