The war leaves not only the ruins of cities but also ruins in the hearts of people. Trauma touches everyone: soldiers, their families, refugees, children, and civilians who have experienced shelling or loss.

According to official data:

About 25% of Ukraine’s population shows signs of PTSD.

Among refugees, this figure reaches 47%. In 2024, more than 50,000 children sought psychological help — three times more than the previous year.

This is why the "Alive" school was created — a space where psychological science and spiritual support combine. Here, we teach how to understand the nature of trauma, recognize its symptoms, provide first psychological aid, and strengthen inner resilience.
