Rosie is one of the eldest girls in our orphanage. She is quiet and very gentle. We called her “mommy” because she loves to play with younger kids and hels them to do their homework.
She was left without parents when she was very young. HIV infected her mother and after a prolonged illness, she died. Not long after – Rosie’s father died of pneumonia.
Currently, she studies at school and especially loves the English lessons. Rosie is one of six of our children who read the whole New Testament within two weeks. Smart, kind, and responsible — that’s our Rosie.
